The core dictates your ability to dominate your opponent in any sport. Pure Core is designed for the athlete who is looking to pack on some muscle and, more importantly, teach those muscles to move quickly and efficiently. Pure Core is much more than weight training. It is an education in your body's potential. Core power is within you. We will train you to unleash it!

What you can expect:

  • Understand and learn to train your core as the foundation of true speed and athleticism
  • Proper education of Olympic style lifting techniques
  • A decrease of up to 3/10 of a second on your 40 time
  • A periodized program designed to fit the needs of your sport
  • Identification and correction of weaknesses in sprinting mechanics
  • Learn proper starting techniques
  • Decrease your risk of injury on the field or court
  • Learn to control gravity and use it to be more explosive
Who is this class for?

Pure Core is designed for males and females from age 13 and up. Each participant will be given a program based on his or her age level.

 
Pure Speed...Feel the Need for Speed?


There is speed and then there is "athletic speed." This is the ability to rapidly speed up and more importantly slow down. At Pure Athletics we are all about the first 1-2 steps in all directions. We teach you how to…

What you can expect:

  • Identification and correction of weaknesses in sprinting mechanics
  • Learn proper starting techniques
  • Bodyweight, gymball, and medicine ball exercises
  • Understand and learn to train your core as the foundation of true speed and athleticism
  • Improved linear and lateral acceleration
  • Decrease your risk of injury on the field or court
  • Understand deceleration and how it sets up acceleration
Who is this class for?

Pure Speed is designed for ages 6 and up. Each participant will be given a program based on his or her specific age level. No weights are used in this class.

   
     
Adult Fitness...Tired of Spinning?
 


Ready to stop straining your back picking up kids or groceries? Our Adult Fitness class approaches life as the sport it is. Every day brings challenges to your body. Our experts will help you rise to meet them. This class is designed to make you strong, lean, and powerful. Participants can expect to be taught the same exercises and methodology associated with sports training. Emphasis is placed on the learning of proper form and timing, not on lifting big weights. Balance and functional ability are the goal. You have never experienced this level of fitness! You will be fit for life!

What you can expect:

  • Increased muscle tone and physique
  • Bodyweight, gymball, and medicine ball exercises
  • Learn to train movements not just muscles
  • Understand and learn to train your core as the foundation of function and a fit body
  • Increase your metabolism and fat burning potential

  • A fun, empowering 1 1/2 hour workout
Who is this class for?

Adult Fitness is designed for adults age 16 and up. Each participant will be given a program based on his or her specific fitness level.

By performing our Functional Movement Screen we can quickly see potential risk when an athletes movement patterns are limited or altered. These patterns often go undetected in conventional training and are the cause of many injuries.

By systematically testing each movement pattern, we can identify those who may be at risk for an injury as activity levels are increased. Others are interested in performance and consider movement patterns as they develop fitness and performance programs. At Pure Athletics, we use The Functional Movement Screen to do BOTH!
