The Pure Athletic Experience
Training Movements Not Muscles
Pure Athleics is unlike any gym or personal training
you may have experienced in the past. When we say that we "train
movements not muscles", what we are saying is that we focus on the
sport specific movements that athletes make in game time situations.
Yes, the muscles will get worked in the process but is is more important
that the tendons, ligaments, and muscles work together with the nervous
system to produce flued movements which increase athleticism and decrease
risk of injury.
Although other training systems may use similar equipment
and appear on the surface to provide the same type of exercises, it is
important to understand that not all fitness programs and personal trainers
provide the same level. Here are some important things to look for...
1. Track Record
Although you may not be trying out for a professional or collegiate team,
it is nice to know that you are working with someone who has helped take
players from Jr. High, through Division I colleges, and eventually into
the professional levels in multiple sports. At Pure Athletics we train
all ages and abilities. You never know when you might be training right
next to a Pro.
2. Proper Certification
In an industry where most trainers obtained their certificate from a weekend
siminal all of our trainers have a 4-year degree and are certified with
the NSCA and USAW. Don't trust your body to anything but the best! We
believe it is impossible to fully understand our job without it.
3. More than just Working up a
Sweat
Any trainer can run some drills or circuits and get you to work up a sweat,
and that's great, but that is not why you come to Pure Athletics. You
come to Pure Athletics to get a complete workout that encompasses all
aspects of your fitness and translates to the movements you make everyday.
We are here to teach you the skills you need for now and the rest of your
life!
Whether you are looking to earn a living as a professional
athlete or just strength for life...
"Pure Athletics is for the
Athlete in all of us!"
